Simply The West

We are John and Linda West and were the over 50s Latin British Champions for 2007 and 2008 retiring in 2009 undefeated. We were top of the EADA Senior II Latin chart and were placed in the top 6 of the EADA Senior I Latin chart for several years.

We started dancing at the Dennis Drew Studio in Manor Park around 20 years ago, and then joined Western Dance School in Rayleigh, taking part in the Supadance League for several years before competing on the "Open Circuit". We now want to pass on our knowledge to dancers of all levels and ages.

Classes

We provide Ballroom and Latin classes for beginners, advanced and practice for all, in Brentwood, Maldon, Loughton, and Great Dunmow, Essex, from £8 per person. Simply the West have the unique advantage of having one male and one female teacher in every class to help you learn much quicker. See more>>

Private Lessons

£25 per hour for a single person and £30 per hour for a couple. Classes are held in Broomfield, Chelmsford see locations for full address. Please ring or email for further information.

  Our next event will be Ballroom & Latin for Complete Beginners in Torquay from Friday 3rd August to Monday 6th August 2012, 3 nights from £165.00 per person for Dinner, Room and Breakfast.

• Demonstrations

  Available for Ballroom and Latin demonstrations at local dance schools, private functions, corporate events, holiday venues and cruises. Dances include Waltz, Foxtrot, Tango, Viennese Waltz and Quickstep, Cha Cha, Samba, Rumba, Paso Doble and Jive.
